The attention green buildings and carbon-neutral projects have nurtured over the years, although well deserved, does not do justice to the needs of clean water and clean waterfront activity. Help Us Develop Criteria for Sustainable Waterfront Construction.

Our focus is -- quality control, performance tracking and evidence based planning alternatives, which may impact waterways and marine habitat.

We believe there is a major role to be filled by improving the construction methods and product choices used to develop working waterfronts and boating destinations (beyond Clean Marinas and Clean Boatyard practices).

As an independent, nonprofit 'think-tank' of professionals, we have compiled industry data and resources to 'bring green to the waterfront' -- We call it BLUE.
